I bought this Body Fat Tester because I started a diet and wanted to check my fat loss and not only my weight loss (as weight loss is not only made of fat loss but can also include muscle loss for example).

I have had 3 different expensive scales at home which supposedly would do this. Yet, I have never managed to have a consistent measure. From one day to the other my body fat percentage would vary tremendously with no reason.

I then read that those scales were almost useless and that body fat calipers were basically the only way to really have an accurate idea of your level of body fat and how it evolves.

This little body fat caliper is absolutely perfect for that.

When I open the pack, I first had my doubts about its accuracy. How can this little plastic instrument could be that accurate ?

I then did like 10 measures in a row, and to my surprise the results were always absolutely the same (to the exact same millimeter).

One good thing also is that you can really easily use it alone without the help of anyone else.

I would not bother buying a digital caliper. This manual body fat tester delivers the same level of accuracy for a much better price.

If you are looking for a body fat tester, I would definitely recommend this one.

I recently purchased this product, I found it very easy to use with clear instructions. The caliper came with an instruction leaflet which had plenty of information in it.

The only point I’m not sure about is that you take one measurement which is used to estimate your body fat percentage. I thought that a few reading were needed to accurately measure total body fat. The product is claimed to be very accurate though.

In summary, very easy to use by one person and I would recommend it.

I exercise using the EA Sports Active programme for the Wii, and I’ve been hunting for ages for resistance bands long enough to replace the very weak one provided with the software. The industry standard for bands and tubes seems to be 120cm, which just isn’t long enough (even though I’m not especially tall). The bands in this pack, used with the handles supplied by EA Sports, are just right. It would have been nice to be able to buy the things singly – I’ll never need the weakest one as it’s similar to the EA-provided one – but the others are stronger and will keep me happy for a couple of months.

It seems a bit daft to me that virtually all such products only come in 1 length…. Herd instinct?

Very good value – I have a Nintendo EA Sports Active Personal Trainer. The band supplied with it is not very strong and snapped. I was having difficulty getting a replacement the right length………these are perfect.

This is really two products in one…

The skipping rope – it does exactlywhat it says – it is a rope and using it you can skip.

The counter does indeed count, but is reminiscent of 1980s technology – it works but you won’t love it – designed as cheaply as possible, say no more.

Ideally I would have preferred to pay a little bit more to get something decent, but this has been manufactured with an eye on cost and that is obvious…

Better to buy a standard skipping rope and learn to count (or better still, buy a parrot…)

Got this set up now after several attempts ended with the straps coming off when hitting it with reasonable force. By the looks of it the straps probably won’t last that long but seems ok for the money.

I’ve tried LOTS of different ropes of many varying designs, and this so far is the best I’ve used. The price is reasonable, the rope is leather and the ball bearings work great – you’d be surprised how much difference a good rope makes to a workout. The only downside to it is that you don’t get any weights to put inside the handles like on some ropes, however the ends of the handles do come off so there is provision for putting weights inside. The handles are pretty comfortable, and once in motion the rope is near effortless to keep in motion (a stark contrast to PVC style ropes).

If you’re wondering whether to get a skipping rope to keep fit, it’s probably the easiest and quickest way once you get the coordination, 10 minutes a day on one and any excess fat you have will melt away in no time! 10 minutes on a skipping rope is supposed to be equivalent to 30 minutes of jogging, so it’s not hard to see why.

This really is a great skipping rope! It is great quality being leather and is cheaper than a lot of other similar ropes out there.

I bought this after a PVC rope and the difference is huge. It is a lot easier to get started with a rope such as this and it is great for both cardio-vascular and muscular endurance aspects of general fitness.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
