WOW! this thing is amazing!

i startes off doing the lightweight setting for a few weeks..doing 5, 2minute rounds with a minute break in between…iv worked up to middleweight and my punch speed and power have improved greatly!!

its also a great core workout for your abs and general good cardio workout!

I’m not going to claim to be a boxing expert but my coach was pleased with these. They are not elasticated so do not constrict your hands. They are easy to fit as there is a loop on one end to go round your thumb and a long velcro strip on the other to secure them. To me they seemed really long but looked good once one my hands.

I bought these because they were reasonably priced and i didnt wanna spend a lot just to be hitting a bag in the gym. Turns out it was a great purchase, i have quite small hands but the gloves still feel comfortable when wearing. They cushion your hands really well. All i could have asked for really.

The first thing to note about these gloves is unlike others they don’t feature a velcro fastening so many gloves have that wrap round the back to tighten them, instead the gloves have a flexible band which stretches as you slide your hand in.

This is a fast, easy way to put on and take off your gloves.

There is quite a lot of padding on the fist compared to other bag mitts I’ve used making them more comfortable and more like boxing gloves.

The gloves also look fantastic, they’re deep red and look the part.

After a couple of uses on a canvas bag they show no signs of wear.

These are excellent, really tough, well made and will last years!!!! They fit really well, I have small hands and although my fingers do fit into 3 of the glove slots they stay on very well and do the job! I go to the gym and they have ones exactly the same, they get a hammering!!!! They were packed up very well too… Amazon didn’t overdo it this time!!!

To be honest, I would save your money and buy some a little bit more expensive like those from Blitz. I bought these and get the feeling they will break after some good rough use, they also feel small and take a lot of struggling to get hands in (and i’ve got pretty small hands) Useless if your training at classes with handwraps, damn near impossible to get your hands in.

This arrived almost totally flat in its packaging, so it needed some wearing in. It feels very robust and is adjustable in a lot of places so should be able to fit most shapes and sizes of head.

I bought the BBE headgaurd for Kung-fu sparring and it replaced my old and rather worn out trusty Everlast one.

I am very impressed by its lightness and the comfort and i have found it a big improvement over the everlast headguard

This punch bag is suitable for punch and kick practice. Its adjustable height means it is fine for my 12 year old son but will take him through to full height/weight/strength. Water filled base can be emptied for moving, & is sturdy enough to keep it steady for punching in limited space.

I’ve found this to be a good addition to my training. You have the option to go for speed or power punching, this is determined by how much force you need to apply to knock the light out. This is done through the position of a switch on the torso.

There are also different types of use, one is a sequence type exercise where the lights appear in a set sequence that you must follow, this sequence is repeated constantly for whatever time you require. (For example it may go right hook to body, left jab to face, left jab to face, right uppercut to face, left hook to body, right jab to face continuous) The sequence will change depending on what level you choose.

Another option is the random level where lights appear randomly with no set sequence and it’s down to quick reactions to knock the lights out quickly.

You have a timer that can be set in minutes, once the time expires an audible beep starts and all the lights go out, great if you want to train for 3 minute rounds or more, it also displays the number of lights punched out.

The problems found are that regardless of how full the base is with sand it rocks about, the best solution I’ve come up with is to place it directly in front of a wall, this way it isn’t going anywhere. And as previously stated the base will mark delicate floors, again I prevented this by buying some exercise mats to place it onto.

Overall a good piece of kit.

I’m pleased with the Slam Man although I’d say that it’s better suited to a woman,my fiancé has tried it and get frustrated because it wobbles all over the place. We have filled it up with sand and it still wobbles. Also, if you have a wooden floor, BEWARE!! Our floor is now stratched where the Slam Man has been. Apart from these set backs it is good fun although you might be better off buying a couple of pairs of boxing gloves for the novelty and sparring with anyone who’ll do it with you. Good fun to start off with but the novelty soon wears off. Also the video that comes with it is really annoying!!!!!!!
