As a personal trainer i have tried many gym balls on the market and this ball is by far the best… The ball was very easy to inflate with the double action hand pump supplied with ball, the DVD is basic but is sufficient for its requirements there are also some more exercises enclosed on a leaflet.

It has a great non slip type surface and is anti burst up to 250kg which is more than any one would need.

All in all i am a very happy with this high quality gym ball and will be recommending it to all my freinds and clients

The ball was delivered promptly and I had it ‘up and running’ fairly quickly. Having an injured back, I use this in my office when I’m on the computer instead of a chair and it makes a noticable difference to your posture. The hand-pump that is supplied though is not really up to the job. It will inflate the ball but in reality, you need a foot-pump to get it fully inflated and at the correct pressure. The DVD that accompanies this product contains some good exercises but it is marred by the fact that it is not interactive i.e. there is no index and you cannot select chapters, etc. You have to watch the whole thing until you reach the part you want and as it is about 30 minutes long, this can be a pain sometimes.

Other than that, this is a very good product.

I’ve never used an exercise ball before but have found this one very easy to use and very good quality. The pump makes it very quick to inflate and keep topped up. The ball is made of quite thick material and feels very strong when you are using it. There is a handy guide with it which gives you some starting exercises. I haven’t watched the DVD.

The 55cm size is great for me, I am 5’2″. The purple colour is really nice in a metallic finsh, which helps if you have to have it around the house!

It’s always difficult buying products when you don’t know the make. I have bought some sports equipment from this company before and I have been very happy with my purchases. So I decided to take a chance on their exercise ball and I can honestly say I am very pleased with this product as well.

When your spine curls are perfection you may decide to place a ball under your feet to make the core work much harder, hence the rather odd title for this review. The ball has a slightly textured surface that is easy to grip and doesn’t slip on clothes when you place it under the sacrum.

It comes with a plastic straw to inflate it, and two sealing bungs. Due to the construction, it would be quite hard to keep it over inflated. The Yoga Mad ball appears to be as well made as their Pilates mats, and it doesn’t lose air when using it to support my pelvis (I’m nearly 11 and a half stones), or squeezing it during isometric exercises.

If having a large rubber ball to try and do sit ups on is your thing (and I bought one, so it must be mine), then this will do the job. The one slight criticism is that the seal on the inflation valve isn’t great so it will leak air slowly and you’ll have to give it a few minutes of work with the pump once a week (which uses a hand action your entire family will find hilarious) to keep it full. Beyond that, though, this is a perfectly good purchase.

I bought this set to help me exercise when it’s too cold to go outside and it’s done the trick. I really feel the benefit from using the ball and I enjoy working out with it.

I’ve had no problem with the pump as other customers have done and the ball is good quality. However I didn’t find the DVD very helpful and actually bought another one (I went for Oz aerobics) to use with the ball. As you can buy Reebok gym balls by themselves cheaper elsewhere I would recommend doing that rather than buying this set.

Also I didn’t realise that gym balls come in different sizes for different heights, luckily this one is the right size for me but find out what size you need before investing.

This is a really nice way of working on your posture. Having done yoga for a little while, work with the ball made me realise I don’t use all muscle groups to their fullest extent in my yoga practice. I use it for sitting on a few times every day, especially when using my laptop -like now.

The thing is sturdy, bouncy, generally of good quality and has slightly sticky feel so you don’t slide off it.

Only 4 stars because the pump supplied didn’t work (so gave my lungs a bit of exercise!), and the technical quality of the DVD supplied wasn’t brilliant (the content is nice: well presented, motivating and provides sufficiently detailed instructions).

There are cheaper alternatives if you don’t want a DVD and a (defect) pump with it, but for me this purchase was fine.
