If you have ever experienced the ‘cold sweats’ when you stop for a break on a long walk – as the moisture trapped in your T shirt cools – you should really invest in a ‘base layer’ before your next outing.

These layers are designed to allow the moisture to exit through them, instead of storing them in the fabric itself.

In short – you feel more comfortable!

They are also easy to wash – I never iron mine – and can be crumpled into a rucksack or suitcase without taking up too much room.

They are also cheaper than the ‘T’ shirts I normally buy, so I’m onto a winner whichever way you look at it.

I thought it was all a bit of ‘walker hype’ when I first read about these – but I’m a convert. Now I wear them almost all the time!

I have used this for training all winter and have been very impressed. The top has kept me warm when it’s been raining and snowing, but allows your body to breathe when you start to really work up a sweat so you don’t overheat. This is pretty much the perfect cold weather training top in my book.

However, it really is a cold weather top so don’t even try and wear it on a warmish day – you’ll boil alive!

Save this for those dark December days with a biting wind cutting into you – despite quite a high price, this is worth every penny.

As stated this garment is a base layer,designed to act as part of a layering system, as an avid outdoor photographer I use the garment (top and Bottom) with a fleece and windproof jacket and have found a considerable difference over similar products I have purchased, some being more expensive, the washing instructions can be a little confusing but washed at 30 deg, they have maintained shape and properties, all in all an excellent garment.

You should have seen hubby’s eyes when these arrived. “Oh no,” he declared (or words to that effect, which are, largeley unprintable) “They are the wrong size” he further squawked.

I told him to try them on.

And lo, they fit perfectly.

Hubby has long fingers and masculine hands but not too large, and the gloves slid on nice and snug with no pulling or chafing.

And they did indeed stop his fingers getting cold out walking.

Another advantage to them is that he was able to ditch his bulky outer gloves for a while and use these gloves alone to keep his hands warm whilst doing photography. They are so thin they did not get in the way of him messing with his buttons and dials, but stopped his fingers from freezing as he adjusted some button or other.

All in all a good buy and highly reccomended.

bought these for my 8 yr old son, for wearing under football shorts. he is tall for his age and very slim, and this was the smallest size i could buy so i was rather dubious that they would fit.

apeared to be a bit on the small side (they were age 10=12) and tight on the waist, but after having worn them my son stated that they were very comfortable and he would wear them again!!!!!

theycame to just above his knee: he is 4ft 7.

ive owned Under Armour and now sub armour, these are cheaper but quality isn’t, these are my second pair im a 34″ waist and i feel the medium size is just the job fit nice, i have another pair in black large size again fit well but medium is better for a 6ft2″ male who does plenty of gym work slim build

came extremely quickly – so very happy
