Solidly built, looks great, and with the larger wheels, my 4 year old steams to school, leaving me running to catch up. Nice large platform to stand on. The wheels really spin well and don’t grind to a halt like some scooters. I can see this lasting for years, so my advice would be buy it rather than a cheap supermarket one for a tenner. I only marked it down by one star because the folding mechanism could be smoother.

This Christmas gift to my grandson, aged 11.4 years, gained me many ‘granny points’. Easy to assemble, easy to store, this has given lots of fun and with a good battery charge of 40mins, lots of riding time. The snow meant waiting for full outside play, however, a long hall ( not recommended ) and a cleared drive meant practise on a small scale could be made before hitting the ‘pavements’. Quite fast so practise, safety gear and awareness are essential. Strong and sturdy with stand up and sit down options, the scooter has quickly become a favourite item…I do believe I saw his grandfather trying it out…only testing of course!!!!

Bought this for my son’s Birthday (10), but couldn’t resist having a go myself! The RipStick has 2 wheels compared to the traditional skate board and this makes it so hard to learn, I certainly recommend pads! But once mastered its just magestic, my son can scoot around so smoothly and gracefully and not many of his friends can master it so he gets lots of respect. Great toy.

This is a really cool product. Purchased two at christmas, one for my son and one for my nephew aged 7 and 11. They are having great fun learning how to use it, and the DVD that comes with the product has some excellent tips on how to get going. I will say though it’s not easy. With only two wheels, a sence of balance is an absolute must, but it didn’t take the boys long to master it. Saftey gear is also a must!!!!

Overall I think this product is great and at such a great price too. Cheapest I could find anywhere with most places retailing it at 3 times as much. Also Amazon delivered super fast. Fab. Thanks Amazon!!!

This item is unique. It is far more than the scooter that I had set out to purchase for my eight year old grandson. He took to it like a duck to water and was quickly doing stunts with yelps of joy. What I found interesting was that it can be used in a fairly small area in comparison to his old scooter. With the scooter he had to stop regularly to turn round and go back. With the power wing he spins himself around and uses its self propelling method to go backward and forward. This is the ideal toy for children to amuse themselves for hours, as well as being able to put on a show for parents and grandparents. My only regret is that they were not made when I was a child. If in doubt get one for your child you will not regret it.

Hey what fun

Took an afternoon to master but my 9 year old son loves it. He is the center of attention every time he takes it out as no-one has seen it before.

It moves with a sideways action of the hips and legs, swings 36o degrees around and does weelies every boy’s dream.

I do feel these are a little over priced as they don’t last very long especially as everyone wants to have a go on my sons scooter because great sparks come out of the back, but they are great fun and very effective

The scooter itself is fabulous fun but the pads do wear down fast so you need to stock up on these!
